Biography
Arnaud Amouroux has been a Political Affairs Officer in the UN OSASG-Cyprus since 2019, primarily in charge of trade, youth, and academia related issues with a view to bring the two communities closer. Previously he has served in various capacities across the international peace and security spectrum, ranging from conflict prevention to crisis management and peacebuilding both at UN headquarters and in the field (DR Congo, Sudan, Balkans). Arnaud taught on Sport, Society and Diplomacy at local universities in Indonesia, and regularly collaborates with the Johan Cruyff Institute in Barcelona where he delivers the course on Sport and Sustainability, with a focus on the linkages between sport, international relations, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
