Biography

Giorgos Demetriou is leading cutting edge research at the Circular Economy Research Center (CERC) in Paris where he is a professor of Circular Economy at the École des Ponts Business School as well as a Professor of Circular Economy and New Business models at ENPC in Paris. He has a passion for technologies, skills and edu¬cation curriculums that can expedite the transition from the linear economy to a Circular Economy. He has worked for almost 20 years in the EU landscape and has authored and co-authored numerous impactful reports, scientific publications, and articles. The Circular Economy Research Center (CERC) has achieved to be awarded numerous EU research grants in niche research themes in the domain of Circular Economy and has contributed to the esta¬blishment of unique initiatives such as the Circular Economy Alliance.
