Biography

Steven S. Gouveia has a PhD in Neurophilosophy (University of Minho, Portugal). During his PhD, he was a visiting-researcher at the Minds, Brain Imaging and Neuroethics Unit of the Royal Institute of Mental Health (University of Ottawa, Canada), where is currently a PostDoc Research Fellow. He published 12 academic books on different topics. His new book is titled “Philosophy & Neuroscience: a Methodological Analysis” by Palgrave Macmillan. He has also been teaching courses with the participation of prominent scholars such as Noam Chomsky, Peter Singer or Paul Bloom. He hosted the documentary “The Age of Artificial Intelligence”.
